Call of Duty Warzone is a battle royale multiplayer game that blends last-man-standing gameplay with the classic survival, exploration, and scavenging world of COD. One of the biggest perks of the game is being able to play across multiple platforms, such as Xbox, Play Station, and PC.

This project was a part of VCU’s Strategic Workshop’2021 which is sponsored by the One Club for Creativity. During this event, students from over 15 different universities competed against one another in teams. The ask? Revise an original client brief and make it your own

Objective
Launch Call of Duty: Warzone into mainstream culture.

Barrier
Gaslight, gatekeep, gamer
COD already has such loyal players that it can be hard to enter the community.

Insight
People won’t leave their comfort zone unless they know where to go.

Target
People ages 18-35, interested in picking up a new hobby that they missed out on the first time around.


Strategy
Show Call of Duty: Warzone is the first mission for a player to become a gamer.
